This page explains how to have your Chess3D account and its data deleted, what gets removed, and what is kept.
Either way works, and both reach the same place:
No reason is needed, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. You will get a confirmation once it is done.
All of it, within 30 days of the request.
| Kept | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| A record that a payment happened — amount, date, and the provider's reference | German and EU tax law requires business records of a transaction to be retained | 10 years |
| Reports other players filed about you | So a pattern of abuse is not erased by the person leaving | Indefinitely |
Neither keeps your email, your name, or anything about your games. The payment record cannot be traced back to you from the app.
Deletion is permanent. Gems, boards, piece sets and reactions cannot be restored afterwards — including anything bought with money. There is no undo, and a new account starts from zero.
You do not have to delete the whole account. Write to the same address and say what you want removed — a photo, a display name, your chat history — and that alone will be handled.
Under the GDPR you may also request a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or object to how it is used. Same address. You may complain to your local data protection authority; in Germany that is the authority for the state where you live.
